Why should I book on the Kili Villa website?
We offer the best online rates to our customers here on our website as we do not have to pay the big commissions to the Online Travel Agents. We know that the OTAs provide a sense of security. However, it is our reputation that is on the line here and we successfully take many direct online bookings without any problems whatsoever.
Post COVID-19 travel requires very flexible booking and cancellation policies, and these we have as can be seen from our terms and conditions designed to protect both you and our business’ reputation.
What happens if I cannot fly due to COVID-19 restrictions?
We offer a no questions asked 100% refund if any booking is cancelled within 14 days of arrival.
Should your cancellation be within that period, we only ask that you furnish us with adequate proof of the fact that you were not able to travel due to new Covid related restrictions, and we will in the first instance provide you with a voucher that can be used within 24 months, covering the value of your initial booking.
Should you not be happy with this, we will refund any monies you may have paid, less a 5% payment provider administration fee that we have already paid, and will not be refunded.
Flights, Transfers, Activities - why should I book these on your website?
We know the needs of our customers, and of others going on Safari. We are often asked to assist with bookings of other services such as local flights to the National Parks and the Islands.
We have partnered with East Africa’s only specialized online travel agent, Tripindigo at www.tripindigo.com, to bring you live Flight, Transfers and Activities availability as if you were booking on Tripindigo itself. This is a really novel service and our customers love it.
Airport Transfers - do you provide these?
Yes, from all nearby airports including Kilimanjaro International, Arusha Airport and our local private airstrip at Dolly Aerodrome.
To book a transfer, do so at the same time as you make your accommodation booking, you’ll see how easy it is.
Airport Transfer duration - how much time should I allow?
Kilimanjaro International Airport (KIA / JRO) is a little under 40 minutes transfer.
Arusha Airport is 25 minutes away.
Our private Dolly Aerodrome is a mere 10 minutes transfer.
Private Airstrip - is there a private airstrip?
Yes. Known as Dolly Aerodrome and only 10 minutes from Kili Villa. All charter operators know Dolly. At your time of booking your accommodation, use the space for ‘notes’ provided to let us know your time of arrival, and who your charter operator is.

Is Kili Villa child friendly?
Kili Villa is a child’s dream. Safe, secure, filled with wonder. It is still the African bush, there are wild animals so any normal parenting duties need to be observed.
We cater for children and can arrange any necessary extra beds as required up to each room maximum.
Which National Parks are nearby?
Arusha National Park is less than 35 minutes drive, whilst Kilimanjaro National Park is less than an hour away.
Tarangire National Park is a 2 hour drive through interesting countryside, and so is best for a full day outing as opposed to half days (if so desired) at the other 2 parks.
Golf Equipment - can I hire?
Yes. KiliGolf has sets of clubs for men, woman, juniors as well as both left and right handed. Golf carts, caddies, range balls – they’re all available. And you can book your 9 / 18 hole round right here on our website. Plus the transfer to get you to the clubhouse and return.
